Advanced Sound Product, a 100% local owned company in Malaysia , started the operation since 1986. The company has grown to an organization that has exceptional capabilities to design and manufacture innovative sound products and solutions. Today, the company has transformed from one company to three companies as below:

•  Advanced Sound Products based in Shenzhen, China - Production/Manufacturing Plant
•  Advanced Sound Technology based in Penang & Sungai Petani, Malaysia – Research &

:: Chronology of ASP
1986    Establishment of Sound-Tech Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd.
1990    Sound-Tech Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd sets up a joint venture with Royal Philips
           Electronics.
1993    Royal Philips Electronics acquires 100% of the shares, and starts transferring
           its know-how
1994    Sound-Tech obtains the ISO 9001 certification Philips transfers and establishes
           business & marketing management operations. Sound-Tech become an Acoustic
           Competence Center for Philips in Asia Pacific.
1997    Sound-Tech is renamed Philips Sound System (PSS) Asia Pacific. PSS achieves
           Philips TQM Standard (PQA90) requirements.
1998    Becoming a World Class Multimedia Speaker Systems company is defined as new
           company goal. PSS passes SGS / Microsoft audit.
1999    PSS reinforce competency & flexibility in Multimedia Business. PSS gets ISO 14001
           certification
2000    Royal Philips Electronic makes 3 years plan to progressively release part of its
           shares. A joint venture is established with Mr. SL Hui. The new venture is renamed
           Advanced Sound Products(ASP). ASP successfully passed Dell supplier qualification
           audit.
2003    A 43,000sq ft. wood factory is set, for an initial investment of RM$3.5 million.
           Operation starts in October 2003 with a production capacity of 2000 sets/day.
           Advanced Sound Products (HK) Limited, a subsidiary of Advanced Sound Products
           Sdn Bhd is incorporated on Feb 03 as limited company under the Hong Kong
           Companies Ordinance. Its principle activities are that of an investment holding &
           trading company.

           In Oct 03, Advanced Sound Products (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd, a manufacturing plant is
           incorporated as 100% subsidiary of Advanced Sound Products (HK) Limited.
           Advanced Sound Technology (AST) was also established in October with the
           purpose to focus on technology breakthrough. The office is based in Kompleks
           Mayang Mall Penang.
2004    Royal Philips Electronics release all its shares by March 2004. Advanced Sound
           Products is 100% owned by Mr. SL Hui. Advanced Sound Products (Shenzhen)
           Co Ltd starts operating on March 2004.
2005    Advanced Sound Technology is officially granted MSC status in April 6.
2006    ASP obtains ISO/TS16949 certification.
           In May 2006, all the R&D team from ASP officially transferred to AST.
           AST becomes technology center under ASP Group of Companies.
